Former Irish Player Aaron Taylor Calls Out Lack of Senior Leadership

The Irish are currently 4-3 heading into the game against Navy on Saturday afternoon, but many agree that Notre Dame could be 6-1 or even undefeated at 7-0 if they would have gotten a few breaks here or there and taken care of the football inside the red zone. Many former Notre Dame players are voicing their displeasure of where the team is currently and no one has sounded off more clearly than Aaron Taylor, a two-time All-American on the Notre Dame defensive line during the early 1990′s and now commentator on CBS Sports. In a video that is available up on Youtube, Taylor called out the Irish football team for a lack of overall leadership from its leaders, most notably from the senior class. Taylor also brought up several different names who he considered to be strong leaders while he was on campus. I couldn’t agree with Taylor’s comments more.
