Florida State and Florida have flip-flopped in the Associated Press top 25 rankings that were released on Tuesday.
The Seminoles moved up one spot to No. 10 in the AP poll by virtue of Monday night's 41-13 rout of Pittsburgh.
And Florida dropped two spots to No. 12 after a 24-6 win on Saturday over Toledo.
Another state team is on the verge of a return to the Top 25.
Miami received the most votes of any unranked team. The Hurricanes earned 127 points, just shy of Southern Cal (135). The Hurricanes host Florida on Saturday (12 p.m.).
The coaches poll is expected to be released later Tuesday afternoon.
