Florida State right-hander Luke Weaver will represent Team USA this summer after he made the final 24-man roster.Weaver made two starts for Team USA this summer during tryouts and is 0-0 with a 1.12 ERA. The Deland, Fla., native has yielded just one run on five hits in 8.0 innings of work. He has recorded 11 strikeouts while walking just three. The USA Baseball Collegiate National Team features 12 hitters and 12 pitchers that will take part in international competition this summer. International play will begin Friday with an exhibition contest against the Matsuyama Industrial League in Japan. The 39th edition of the USA-Japan series gets underway on Saturday in Matsuyama, Japan. Upon returning to the United States, Team USA will play a pair of exhibition games before opening a five-game series against Cuba on July 18 in Des Moines, Iowa.Weaver was 7-2 with a 2.29 ERA as a sophomore in 2013 for Florida State.
