Found July 08, 2009 on Batter-up with Bruno:
Masslive.com finally posted up a tribute to the one and only legendary sports columnist Garry Brown Tuesday afternoon.
Almost two weeks ago I wrote an article here saluting Brown on his tremendous career and happy retirement.

We almost got mentioned at the bottom of Greg Saulmon's post, but since I wrote my piece for both here and SOX and Dawgs, it looks like Google found SOX and Dawgs first. You lucked out Ian!
So close, ugh.
Here are some key tidbits from Saulmon's post:
4,886-4,369: Win-Loss record of the Boston Red Sox, 1950 through June 30, 2009.

6: Former Red Sox players who've had their numbers retired.

5: Number of those players who were active members of the Red Sox roster during Brown's career.

5:27: Time (p.m.) at which, at a recent Sox game, a sign at Fenway park displayed the message: "The Red Sox Thank Garry Brown For His Decades Of Coverage For The Springfield Republican. Enjoy Your Retirement. You Will Be Missed."
