It looks like the NHLPA is following my advice.
Ryan Miller has confirmed to the Buffalo Newsâ John Vogl that he will in fact be front and centre at the table when six NHLPA members meet the six owners in NYC on Tuesday. Its also belived that Sidney Crosby and Jonathon Toews will be repping the NHLPA as well at this important meeting.

We all knew the owners were going to send Boston Bruins owner Jeremy Jacobs to the players/owners meeting tomorrow. The guy gives me a rash; hardest of the hardliners. At least the owners from the Jets, Flames and Lightning will bring a little perspective.
But why...Why in the world are the players sending Sidney Crosby and Jonathan Toews? Seriously, why have the meeting at all...

The NHLPA reached deep on Saturday, and issued NHL players a $10,000 stipend, to help get them through the holiday season. $10,000 if you're Darcy Hordichuk is a lot of money. $10,000 if you're Sidney Crosby is fire starter.
I shouldn't make jokes about the hard time players are going through. I mean, they've missed four pay-cheques at this...

I'm not bragging, but....
Five of my six NHL powerball numbers have hit.
Ryan Miller, Sidney Crosby, Jonathon Toews, George Parros, and Shane Doan will be in the room today, along with 13 other NHL players. The only player on my wish list not to participate is Steve Ott.
