Payton played 17 years in the league, made nine All-Star appearances and won an NBA Championship with the Miami Heat in 2006. Rick Pitino is the current head coach for the University of Louisville men’s basketball team and could become the first to ever lead two different teams (the other was Kentucky) to a championship in NCAA history if the Cardinals defeat the Michigan Wolverines in Monday night’s NCAA Basketball Tournament finals. Joining Payton and Pitino are Bernard King, WNBA All-Star Dawn Staley, and coaches Sylvia Hatchell, Guy Lewis and Jerry Tarkanian. The direct-elected members are Dr. E.B.
