Auburn offensive coordinator didn’t exactly plan for Bo Wallace to pass the ball as much as he did last Saturday, but the Aggies forced the issue…apparently. …Offensive coordinator Scot Loeffler said he planed to call designed runs against New Mexico State, but the Aggies’ defense forced Auburn to change its game plan. “The first half our mentality was to run some spread runs with him,” Loeffler said. “They overloaded one particular side, which took it away. So we countered with a counter play, but that wasn’t by design, we just had to adjust.” *stops typing…scratches head* You had to “adjust” to New Mexico State’s defense?…For real? Okay…that’s not something you hear everyday but, as Bernie might opine—whatevs. Listen, I’m not willing to go out on any limbs here.
