Razak Braimah impressed on his Black Stars debut
Ghana FA boss Kwesi Nyantakyi has given an overwhelming endorsement of the retention of goalkeeper Razak Braimah in the Black Stars.
The CD Guadalajara shot-stopper impressed on his Ghana debut in the 2-2 draw with Turkey in an international friendly earlier this month.
Braimah provided an astonishing assist by throwing the ball from his goal area to feed Asamoah Gyan on the other side of the pitch to get Ghana back into the game at 2-0 down.
The Black Stars subsequently fought to finish the game with a respectable 2-2 draw in the match played in Istanbul.
It was however the assured performance of the ex Nania goalkeeper that drew a lot of admiration.
Braimah’s immense contribution in the friendly match has been rewarded with another call up to the Black Stars for next month’s double header against Zambia and Japan.
