PLAYERS:
Jack Wilshere
Last time these two teams met there was more than enough deft ball striking to go around (Arsenal 5 – Reading 7), but this time it seems Jobi McAnuff may have taken the task too literally. Jack Wilshere may not be royalty, but he still took a shot in the crown jewels yesterday. No Arsenal fan could accuse Wilshere of being a wanker after that shot. It remains to be seen whether Reading manager Brian McDermott will permanently move McAnuff from midfielder to striker (of balls), but as Wilshere can attest the Reading player seems to hit his target. We all knew McAnuff runs a tight ship as captain, but who knew he was such a ball buster… (Okay, I’m done. I promise. Gif after the jump)
