Going Batty Over Supreme Court Justice Nominee's Softball Photo

The latest nominee to the Supreme Court once swung a bat. Now gay rights groups are all upset that Elena Kagan's been outed. Their dismay is based on The Wall Street Journal running a 1993 photo of Kagan at the plate. "It clearly is an allusion to her being gay," Cathy Renna told Politico. She's a consultant and a former spokesperson for the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation. I'll assume most of you are also against defamation of any kind. Would you feel defamed if a newspaper ran a picture of you playing softball? If you answered yes, you must be a member of a gay rights group.
