Here is a disgusting example of how some basketball rivalries go too far.Four members of the Cassville High School (MO) ladies team are finding themselves on the hot seat for a prank they pulled on a Feb. 4 game against Monett High School.According to the report, the mischievous players urinated in a cup and poured their liquid waste into the Monett drinking water cooler, which was used frequently by members of the Monett squad throughout the game.Officials at Cassvile reportedly learned of the incident last Tuesday. They then notified Monett officials, who in turn mailed a letter out to parents of the Monett team. The letter contained an apology and noted that Cassville was in the process of determining appropriate punishment for the players in question. Cassville Superintendent Jill LeCompte has since noted that the four teens have each been disciplined, but didn't provide details as to how.The girl whose urine was used in the prank is having a series of tests run on her to determine if any of the Monett student may be at risk of illness.Despite the outrage felt by parents of the Monett players, Monett Superintendent Brad Hanson has asked the community not to take any actions in revenge."We all need to remember that people make mistakes whether we're adults or 14- to 18-year-old kids. We need to sit back, no matter how upset, appalled or angry we are. I'm asking for our students, coaches and community to take the high road on this and show we are the classy people we are."Via Prep Rally
