7:00 Michigan at Virginia (ESPN2) For some reason Virginia is favored in this game. I’m not seeing it. I know Virginia is at home and that counts for something but Michigan played Duke close and beat Memphis, they’re better than Virginia and I think will win.

7:15 Northwestern vs Georgia Tech (ESPNU) Tech is simply not good having already lost to LSeauX and St. Joseph’s. Northwestern in a close one.

7:30 Illinois at Maryland (ESPN) Illinois has beaten up on a bunch of nobodies while Maryland has lost to Alabama and Iona, 2 teams Purdue has already played and split with. Given that Purdue is clearly better than Maryland and Illinois should be about on the same level as Purdue I think Illinois should win this one.

9:00 Miami at Purdue (ESPN2) Purdue is the better team in this matchup and is at home. Plus I’m a homer. Purdue wins.

9:15 Clemson at Iowa (ESPNU) This one is a true tossup as both teams are turrible. Iowa wins thanks to home court I guess.

9:30 Duke at Ohio St. (ESPN) This matchup is huge as we have 2 top 5 teams squaring off. Both feature excellent frontcourts with the Plumlees and Sullinger. I like Ohio St. to take this one at home.

Wednesday:
7:15 Penn St. at Boston College (ESPNU) BC is a very bad team but Penn State is worse and it’s at BC so they should win.

7:15 Indiana at North Carolina St. (ESPN2) Indiana is much improved this year with a good freshman class highlighted by Zeller. NC St. isn’t bad either. Indiana in a close one.

7:30 Florida St. at Michigan St. (ESPN) Florida St. has lost 2 straight and now have to travel to East Lansing. I know Michigan St. isn’t quite up to their usual standards but they should at least be able to win at home in this one.

9:15 Virginia Tech at Minnesota (ESPN2) Virginia Tech has only lost to Syracuse while Minnesota has beaten no one and got obliterated by Dayton. I think Virginia Tech is better and will pull it out.

9:15 Wake Forest at Nebraska (ESPNU) Wake Forest in a close one because I think Nebraska is probably a bad team.

9:30 Wisconsin at North Carolina (ESPN) Another huge matchup. North Carolina is going to be mad after losing to UNLV over the weekend and it’s in North Carolina. It’s just too much to ask of Wisconsin to steal this one.

Well, there you have it, my prediction is that the Big ten will win the challenge 8-4.

NHL:
7:00 Islanders at Buffalo
7:00 St. Louis at Washington
7:00 Florida at Carolina
7:30 Pittsburgh at Rangers (Versus)
8:30 Ottawa at Winnipeg
8:30 Phoenix at Chicago
9:30 Nashville at Calgary
10:00 Columbus at Vancouver
