Any meaningful college football games are on a sabattical for the next few weeks, so the NFL will capture the attention of football fans everywhere. With just 4 weeks left in the season, teams are jockeying for division titles and playoff spots. In the NFC, Green Bay and San Francisco have clinched their divisions, leaving eight teams to fight over four playoff spots. In the AFC, no one has clinched a playoff birth so only two games separate the #1 seed from #7. Nine teams have realistic chances at the playoffs with just four weeks to go. Based on the remaining games this is how I see the standings looking after the final game of the regular season.

NFC

1. Green Bay 16-0

2. San Francisco 13-3

3. New Orleans 13-3

4. Dallas 9-7

5. Atlanta 10-6

6. Chicago 9-7

Detroit 9-7

Seattle 8-8

New York Giants 8-8

Arizona 7-9

AFC

1. New England 13-3

2. Baltimore 12-4

3. Houston 12-4

4. Denver 10-6

5. Pittsburgh 12-4

6. New York Jets 9-7

Tennessee 9-7

Oakland 9-7

Cincinnati 9-7

I envision a crazy four way tie for the last playoff berth and I have no idea how the tiebreakers would work, so I will just say somehow the Jets sneak into the sixth spot.

I think it will be Green Bay vs. New England in the Super Bowl, with the Patriots being the team to stop an undefeated season this time.
