Harlem Globetrotter Shatters Backboard with Monster Slam

At a stop in Guayaquil, Ecuador on the Harlem Globetrotters tour, Globetrotter Darnell “Spider” Wilks threw down a powerful dunk that shattered the glass and tore down the whole rim. Wilks, a former Cincinnati Bearcat turned Globetrotter, was a participant in the 2011 College Slam Dunk Championship where he made it to the semi-finals. It seems that dunk contest got the attention of the Globetrotters, because they picked him up in 2011 and he has been throwing down moster slams ever since. Click here to view the embedded video.
