From Pro Sports Daily:

Miami Marlins manager Ozzie Guillen had an opinion about Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade's confrontation with coach Erik Spoelstra during Thursday's loss to the Indiana Pacers.

Guillen said Wade's behavior would lead to a fight if Guillen were in charge.

"I will kick his (expletive)," Guillen said on Friday. "Well, I won't say I'll kick his (expletive). They'll kick my (expletive) because they're bigger than me, and I'm older. But I will take my chances. Some people have to understand our job."

Guillen had recently said he would be less outspoken after his five-game suspension for controversial remarks he made about Cuban dictator Fidel Castro in April.

While Spoelstra said confrontations like the one involving Wade on Thursday are commonplace during games and practices, Guillen said he would not let a player get away with such behavior.

"That's disrespectful," Guillen said. "Why he's saying it, when he said it, that's none of my business. But the player come out and say something (like that to me), he will guarantee a fight."

In the game three loss, Wade was scoreless in the first half and finished with only five points. During a third-quarter timeout, Wade came face to face with Spoelstra and had to be restrained.

"You know how many players I take out of the game and they go in the back and talk crap about me?" Guillen said. "I don't care because I'm going to talk crap about them. If I take you out of the game it's for a reason. You think I want to take you out of the game? You think I want to pinch-hit for you? I pinch-hit for you because you suck. There's somebody else I thought was better than you."

  • The problem is, we don't know what was said by either of them. I just have a problem with somebody telling me how to play the game of basketball, when they have never played organized ball themselves. You can know the x's and the o's, but you are missing the gut instincts.
  • I thought this sport was for the love of the game. Coaches are coaches because they understand the game. Players have to respect the coaches or everything will be in utter kaos. And I don't care how good the player(s) are.
  • I don't care how much a player makes or how good he is they just have to show some respect for the coach. Make him set on the bench for awhile.
  • Awesome how Ozzie is keeping his mouth shut and watching his words these days.
    Kudos OzMan!
  • Atheletes feel that they are God(s). They are disrespectful and for the amount of money they are paid, the fans and coaches deserve better expectations. We make the atheletes and we also have the power to break this behavior by not supporting them publicly. Arrogance and stupidity is all I see when I watch a player respond to his coach in that way. What kind of example is this for the future players in the NBA etc....
  • For once the Oz Man said something good. Wade is a genuine punk/loser.
  • Any thoughts about the Coach being disrespectful to Wade and initiating the argument? Wade has proven himself to be hard working, respectful, and professional. Unlike Guillen, I don't believe a coach can say what ever they like, not matter how idiotic. Let the two grown men work out their issues, neither of which are going anywhere. Guillen should consider going back to Cuba to live with his beloved Castro. What a hypocrite.
  • Looks like Guillen is READY for ANOTHER SUSPENSION!!
  • I am so sorry Ozzie's not the coach, then DWade could destroy him and we would be rid of that ignorant loudmouth forever!
  • The true mark of a gret players is how they handle adversity and the coach on how they use that player. Both need to take a hard look and regroup!
  • This is the kettle calling the pot "Black".

Ozzie Guillen says he would have fought Dwyane Wade in Game 3

Dwyane Wade is probably lucky it wasn’t Ozzie Guillen‘s face he was getting into during Game 3 on Thursday. Wade drew some backlash after he was seen fiercely confronting Heat coach Erik Spoelstra on the sideline during Miami’s nightmarish loss to the Pacers. Wade was ultimately separated by teammates, but Guillen says that wouldn’t have been necessary if he were in Spoelstra’s...

The Flawed Partnership of LeBron and Wade

Let’s be clear:  There will be no saving LeBron James from a playoff collapse this time. There’s no excuse to be made.  You could talk about Chris Bosh’s injury being a factor, but that doesn’t change the fact that LeBron played one of his worst games of the year against Indiana last night. 22 points, 22 shots, 7 rebounds and general disinterest.  None of that stat line...

Video: Dwyane Wade’s verbal confrontation with Erik Spoelstra

The Indiana Pacers defeated the Miami Heat 94-75 tonight to take a 2-1 series lead in their Eastern Conference semifinals matchup. LeBron, Wade finally show heart of champions

INDIANAPOLIS They have shown flash. They have shown talent and style. They have shown gall and conceit. They've just been a great show, or an awful example, depending on how you look at it. But this might have been the first time on the court that LeBron James and Dwyane Wade have shown together that they have heart. Two years into this circus, and for the first time in a big...

Dwyane Wade fizzles as the Miami Heat lose to Pacers 94-75

INDIANAPOLIS –The Miami Heat can officially press the panic button. In doing so, it would be the best thing for them as the Heat and Coach Erik Spoelstra need to come to a firm understanding of what is about to happen. They are no longer in the zone where they can just cruise over teams with a mere flick of their wrist.

Dwyane Wade yelled at Erik Spoelstra during a third-quarter timeout of Miami's 94-75 loss to the Pacers.

The Heat Didn’t Have A Very Good Night

A for effort, but it doesn't make much sense. Dwyane Wade was pissed that the Indiana Pacers were celebrating their Game 2 win in Miami earlier this week, and he was pissed that the refs weren’t calling fouls the way he’d prefer. So when most people expected him to respond with a Dwyane Wade game in Indiana last night, he shocked everyone when he barely showed up with a Harold...

Video Diary of Miami's forgettable game three

We start with this one here.  This has been the common opinion about Lebron James these days (well years).  Although not much statistical evidence backs this up, a lot of moments like this help the anti-Lebron team's case. Anyways, you never want a rookie showing you up on national tv.  Think Lebron will see this video soon? Ah, Dwyane Wade...
