NASCAR powerhouse Hendrick Motorsports, winner of 10 of the last 17 Sprint Cup titles, is featured in the final installment of Sports-at-Work’s 2012 NASCAR team previews.
It’s hard to deny that Rick Hendrick has put together the most impressive team in NASCAR today: A four-time champion, a five-time champion, the sport’s most popular driver, and the new kid on the block, Kasey Kahne (cue swooning ladies).
HMS is also the last remaining four-car Sprint Cup operation, after both Richard Childress Racing and Roush Fenway Racing eliminated their fourth cars in 2012.
Mr. Hendrick has made it clear what the expectations are in 2012, and that anything less than placing all four teams in the Chase and winning the championship will be a disappointment. Lofty goals, no doubt. But are they achievable? Let’s take a look at each driver’s outlook to find out.
