Honestly: Did you expect North Dakota freshman and Twitter preacher Rocco Grimaldi to celebrate his first NCAA goal with anything other than Tebowing?
It was an emotional moment for Grimaldi, getting his first career goal after missing six games this season with a lower-body injury, and on a nifty play: He "entered the zone one-on-two, zipped across the slot to cross-up the defenders, then ripped a snap shot high over" the goalie's glove, according to the Grand Forks Herald.
The Sioux lost to Minnesota, 3-2, to sweep their regular-season series for the first time since 1996.
Was this an intentional Tebowing or a religious player celebrating as religious players do? Well, consider that Tim Tebow, the Denver Broncos quarterback whose one-knee on-field prayer inspired this meme, is an idol for Grimaldi.
