Honestly: Did you expect North Dakota freshman and Twitter preacher Rocco Grimaldi to celebrate his first NCAA goal with anything other than Tebowing?
It was an emotional moment for Grimaldi, getting his first career goal after missing six games this season with a lower-body injury, and on a nifty play: He "entered the zone one-on-two, zipped across the slot to cross-up the defenders, then ripped a snap shot high over" the goalie's glove, according to the Grand Forks Herald.
The Sioux lost to Minnesota, 3-2, to sweep their regular-season series for the first time since 1996.
Was this an intentional Tebowing or a religious player celebrating as religious players do? Well, consider that Tim Tebow, the Denver Broncos quarterback whose one-knee on-field prayer inspired this meme, is an idol for Grimaldi.
From the Sun Sentinel, on what Rocco admires about Tim:
"His faith, first and foremost. For me being a strong Christian, that's one of the big reasons: How he le...

John Elway will be looking for a new QB in 2012. Getty Images
Time is running out on Tim Tebow’s career as a Denver Bronco. The man who brought him in as a first round pick of the Broncos last year, Josh McDaniels is long gone. The man in his place, John Fox, and more importantly, the man making the decisions upstairs, John Elway, will look to trade Tebow in the off-season.
The media (myself not included) are a bunch of idiots and Tim Tebow is helping us see it clearly. Full disclosure, I really don’t like Tebow. I think he’s a jerk who should stop shoving his religion down my throat and a really really crappy quarterback who consistently gets the benefit of the doubt because of his celebrity and continues to be a stubborn, crappy quarterback...
“Tebowing” is the latest craze that doesn’t appear to be slowing down any time soon. Lions LB Stephen Tulloch “Tebowed” last Sunday after sacking Tim Tebow, the Denver Broncos QB for which the act is patterned after. 18-year old hockey player Rocco Grimaldi is a devout Christian and he makes no attempts on his Twitter [...]
JUST LEAVE HIM ALONE
After reading that the classless Bill Romanowski called Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow “the only virgin in the NFL”, I got to wondering: where does all the hatorade people are [...]

In today’s edition of “Let’s All Talk About Tim Tebow”, we have some comments from Broncos Vice President and NFL HOFer John Elway regarding the heavily scrutinized, 2nd year project quarterback. During his weekly radio show, Elway touches on Tebow‘s accuracy (or lack thereof)and Tebow’s running style among other things, via the Denver Post: “I [...]
While there are plenty of big games this Sunday, one of the most interesting is the AFC West rivalry game between the Denver Broncos and Oakland Raiders. Both Tim Tebow and Carson Palmer had disastrous outings in their last games, so all eyes will be on the quarterbacks in this one.
Here’s a look at some prop bets over at Bodog involving those two quarterbacks...
If the Denver Broncos can keep running the ball like this, they won't need to rely much on Tim Tebow's arm to win games. Eddie Royal returned a punt 85 yards for the tiebreaking score, Willis McGahee ran for 163 yards and Tebow threw two touchdown passes to lead the Denver Broncos to a 38-24 victory over the Oakland Raiders on Sunday.
A few weeks ago, it was LeBron James congratulating Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow via Twitter.
Now another Florida-based NBA star is getting in on the action.
Orlando Magic Center Dwight Howard Tweeted a picture of himself and teammate Jameer Nelson doing the Tebow pose this afternoon.
The picture started a public Twitter conversation between the two star athletes...
