High Def Hockey

Guest post from: Bruno Smith

I've attended sporting events for over thirty years, in many different cities, and have seen all the great athletes of our time.

There is perhaps no better sport to watch live and inperson than ice hockey, The action is fast and furious, you can watch the players set up the plays on the ice, and admire what great athletes these pros are. As good as it is to watch live hockey, watching it on standard television just didn't cut the mustard.

That all changed when HD TV's came along. Now, I'm a true beliver in watching hockey in high definition direct tv channels. The best part is you can actually follow the movement of the puck. You can actually see goals be scored. This has turned it all around for me.

With high def, the picture is clear and crisp. The colors are bright and vibrant. You can see the expressions on the player's faces and watch their eyes light up when they get near the goal.

Even the fights and altercations look more impressive in HD. I try and read the lips of the players that just exchanged blows. The fights end up being the icing on the cake when you watch the action happen infront of you on the big screen.
