And then there were three... Thanks a lot Indiana. No seriously, we need to have a talk! What the hell was that on Thursday night against Syracuse? Really, you lose 61-50 and in reality the score is no indication of how badly you actually got beat? That was pathetic for the champion of the best conference in the country and you should all hang your heads in shame. Way to ruin the chances for an all Big Ten Final Four. Hey, I guess that's what we all get for counting on a Weasley coach that can't coach his way out of a paper bag when it counts more often than not. Outside of the Kentucky win last season name one game where Tom Crean has got his team over the hump because of his coaching adjustments? I'll wait for you..... Yep, that's what I thought, 'cause I couldn't come up with one credible source of that.  Oh and while we're at it, can we all stop with the Cody Zeller love fest? Sure the guy has had some amazing moments, but when it's counted most, when his team has needed him to be "the man" inside and take a game over...  You wouldn't have known it on Thursday night as Syracuse worked him over inside. The silver lining came from the fact that he stopped turning the ball over as much as he had been the rest of the NCAA tournament.  We've just got one question after all this - Is he seriously jumping to the NBA following this season? By all means, be my guest, we aren't here to tell you want to do - but what part of your performance this season screams NBA ready? How about we put a tape in of this game where you shot an amazingly pitiful 33% (3-10) from the field. Sure you grabbed nine rebounds, congrats, you want a cookie with that? For all the hype that's been following you you'd think you'd be at least willing to show up on the biggest stage for your team. On the bright side of things, congrats Ohio State at least you held up your end of the bargain in the only game that was any good during the first night of the Sweet 16, winning 73-70. LaQuinton Ross, a bench player, managed to pour in 17 points (none bigger than the final trey). DeShaun Thomas was his usual self, going for 20 points, and he got the help he needed from Aaron Craft (13 points, 5 rebounds and assists) and Sam Thompson (11 points, 8 rebounds) when his shot wasn't falling either.  That's how you win a ballgame and have your team ready for what the opposition throw at you. How you aren't prepared for the Syracuse 2-3 zone when you saw it in your own conference via Northwestern I'll never know. Yes, sometimes shots don't go down and that certainly was the case, but getting 11 shots of your blocked says more about you than the defense you're playing against.  Here's hoping the state of Michigan represents better tomorrow, because tonight Indiana - you were an embarrassment to the Big Ten. However, I'm sure Tom Crean will be a model citizen in that post game presser... Yikes.

Indiana found their program but was completely lost against the zone

It has been quite the journey for Indiana basketball the past five seasons, and though the program is nationally revelant once again, the group that brought them back was completely lost last night against Syracuse and their zone.
