There were not too many highlights for Mizzou fans to be proud of after their 42-10 loss to the top ranked Alabama Crimson Tide on their home field Saturday afternoon. One Mizzou player that did have a very good afternoon was punter Trey Barrow. Besides having one punt attempt blocked by an unattended to Alabama player, Barrow booted the heck out of the ball all afternoon.  Barrow...

ST. LOUIS (AP) -- Eddie Lacy and T.J. Yeldon gave top-ranked Alabama a pair of 100-yard rushers in the same game for the first time this season and the duo combined for five scores in a soggy, weather-delayed 42-10 victory over Missouri on Saturday night. Rushing, Defense Lead Bama Victory

The only thing that could stop Alabama in Columbia Saturday was a bolt of lightning. Even that merely delayed the inevitable. It looked as though Bama was playing in the shallow end, Missouri foundering in the deep end before a weather delay. After the lightning, the Tigers got a spark, but the Crimson Tide washed out the Tigers, 42-10.

BCS Standings 2012: History Says Crimson Tide And Gators Have Great Chance To Play For BCS Championship

The BCS Standings first were implemented in 1998, and while they carry much controversy, they play a large part in which two teams play for the BCS Championship. With the release of the first BCS Rankings in 2012, history is on the side of the Alabama Crimson Tide and Florida Gators, who are ranked No. 1 and No. 2 in the first poll that was revealed last night. BCS Rankings: Filled With Overrated Teams

#1 Alabama If the "Crimson Tide" hadn't of started at #2 in the nation, they would not be the BCS's #1 team in the country. Who have they played? Michigan is the best team that Alabama has played this season, but I'm still trying to find them in the BCS top 25. The combined record for Bama's opposing teams is 20-19. The defense is good, but what offenses...

Alabama's Mosley Earns SEC Honor

C.J. Mosley probably doesn't have the most memorable defensive play of the game remembered by those who saw Alabama defeat Missouri, 42-14, in Columbia Saturday. That would probably go to one of the defensive backs, Vinnie Sunseri or HaHa Clinton-Dix, who got interceptions off tips. Or maybe defensive lineman LaMichael Fanning for his slam dunk of a Tigers running back.
