The North team’s practice at the Senior Bowl was nearly empty on Monday, and for good reason. The team coached by the Minnesota Vikings came up short in regards to quarterbacks, figurative and literally. All the quarterbacks most of the scouts and talent evaluators came to see – Oklahoma State’s Brandon Weeden, Arizona’s Nick Foles and Dan Diego’s Ryan Lindley – were on the South squad, and their practice was at another stadium being conducted 20 miles away at the same time. What was left for the North squad at quarterback was Michigan State’s Kirk Cousins, a prospects projected to be selected in the middle of the 2012 NFL draft, and two college standouts NFL scouts view as “runts.” Boise State’s Kellen Moore and Wisconsin’s Russell Wilson, who both checked in under 6-foot.
