This friday night arena football fans are in for a special treat. The hard hitting,high flying battle between the Pittsburgh Power and the Cleveland Gladiators will air on the NFL Network. These cities are no strangers too each other as they have battled it out through the years in NFL competition. The two teams have played well and could make an impact come playoff time. The defensive side of the ball is where they both have had the most success and this should continue as the two have been able too stay in games because of it. Offensively both sides have struggled a bit hampered by the losses of both regular quaterbacks they have been productive enough too get the needed ws that you have too have this time of the year. The coaching staffs of the two teams have done a great job preparing their teams for battle each. The staffs are experienced,for example,Pittsburgh coach Larry Sigfried as been with many AFL and AF2 teams in the past and has a grasp of what it takes to win in the league. The rivalary features great passionate owners like former Pittsburgh Steeler great Lynn Swan of the Pittsburgh Power who do what needs too be done so that their teams can be successful. The fans of the two squads are great as well as they put real emotion into the game and make it a wonderful experience for all.
This sounds like a wonderful setup for what figures too be a playoff style matchup. The announcers will tell the game story but the action will write another football chapter in these cities football history. The way things have gone thus far this season look for Cleveland too win big 72-33.
