Ryne Rankin, 6’1 230lb Linebacker, is the next Georgia Bulldog signee that we are going to take a look at. Rankin is from Orlando, FL where he played his high school football at East River for Marc Rankin.
After Rankin’s senior season he was named to the Prep-Star All-Southeast Region Team. He was a 4-Star Prospect according to 247sports (16th ILB) and ESPN (13th ILB, 296th Overall) and a 3-Star according to Rivals (24th ILB) and Scout (38th ILB). Rankin committed to the University of Georgia on April 6th, 2012 and stuck true to that commitment throughout his process.
Ryne Rankin enrolled at UGA in December and has been attending class and working out with the Dawgs for the last two months. Rankin is a country boy from Orlando, FL who spends most of his time in the woods hunting when he is not on the football field (or in classroom).
