Here's a running list with injury updates around the Major Leagues: – Second baseman Brian Roberts could rejoin the Orioles tomorrow according to Roch Kubatko of MASN. The decision depends on whether Roberts experiences any setbacks today while playing in the Orioles' Triple-A team or not. “I don't know,”manager Buck Showalter said. “I'm not sure how he felt physically last night. We haven't gotten that complete return. He played for an extended period, and he's supposed to play again today. After Sunday, that was the day we were going to sit down. We'll probably talk on Monday because we don't have anything scheduled minor league-wise after Sunday. “As far as where he's playing and what position he's hitting and all that stuff, I haven't made that lineup out yet.” – Alexi Ogando suffered a right groin strain yesterday and according to T.R. Sullivan of MLB.com, the prognosis is “not good” and he could be close to the Disabled List. “Tomorrow I will get an MRI but right now it doesn’t feel good,” said Ogando. – Doug Fister, who is on the DL with a side strain won't be ready to come off the Disabled List and pitch against the Cubs Wednesday reports Chris Iott of M-Live.com. Manager Jim Leyland said that Fister had a “great” throwing session Saturday, but on Sunday he ruled out the possibility of Fister coming off the DL to pitch Wednesday. “He's stiff and a little sore,” Leyland said. “He's definitely not going to pitch Wednesday. That's the only information I can give you on him. He will not pitch Wednesday. We were hoping for that, but that's not going to happen.” Image by Keith Allison under the Creative Commons License.
