RHP Dave Bush struggled on the mound Monday, allowing 6 runs in 3.2 innings of action. Normally reliable Bisons starter Dave Bush uncharacteristically struggled Monday evening, resulting in an 8-2 loss to the Norfolk Tide. Entering with a 3-1 record and a 1.61 ERA, Bush had yet to allow more than two earned runs in any of his four starts in Buffalo. Unfortunately for himself and the Herd, that wasn’t the case against the Tide. Norfolk smoked the veteran righty, knocking in six runs in only 3.2 innings of action. “Not his day. That’s kind of what I told him when I went out to get the ball” said Bisons manager Marty Brown. Bush struggled with his control on the evening, getting behind early versus many of the veteran Tide batters. “He didn’t command the ball early in the count [or] behind in the count,” said Brown “I’m sure he’ll go out and regroup and find a way to give us a better outing than that [next time].” Three of Norfolk’s nine hits against Bush resulted in home runs on the evening. The loss drops Bush’s record to 3-2 with the Herd as Buffalo falls to 19-10 on the year. The post Inside The Ballpark: Dave Bush Struggles In Loss appeared first on Queen City Sports.
