Cam Newton has decided to enter the NFL draft and many people are wondering if that is a good idea. Newton is not even close to be ready to play in the NFL. He has a lot to work on and at the next level he will be a project to start with. Most NFL teams will give him a look because of his size and speed. If he stays as a quarterback it may be sometime before he sees the field.
Staying at Auburn another year would have been a good idea, but it makes you wonder about things. Why would he enter the NFL draft when he is not ready? Good question, but we really may never find the answer to that question. I look for someone to take a chance on Cam Newton, but it may not be in the first round like he would like.
