THE GAME: The Giants (5-0) at the New Orleans Saints (4-0), 1 p.m., Fox. WHAT IT MEANS: Are you ready for some football? I mean some real football, not the snooze-fests we’ve seen the last three weeks. Finally the Giants get a real test and with both teams undefeated and looking like they’ve got staying power, this game could be huge down the stretch. Forgetting the undefeated Vikings for a second, this will give one of these teams the early lead in the conference and a huge tie-breaker, just in case they need it later on. Also, the winner gets a little R-E-S-P-E-C-T that it doesn’t currently have because of a weak early season schedule - - something both teams have suffered from. MATCHUP TO WATCH: TE Jeremy Shockey vs. LB Danny Clark/LB Chase Blackburn/S Michael Johnson. … The Saints have more dangerous receivers than Shockey, but he is their leading receiver at the moment and could be key if the Giants’ pass rush gets through and forces QB Drew B...
