It Wouldn't Be A World Series Without Him

Take me away, I don't mindBut you better promise me, I'll be back in time He's been reactivated in time for the start of the World Series and he can add this to the list of his accomplishments - a starring role in the Batter's Box POTD! The "Menasha Masher", Eric Hinske, has been added to the New York Yankees World Series roster.  The former Blue Jay picked up a World Series ring with the Boston Red Sox in 2007 but he went down swinging for the final out of last season's Winter, er, Fall Classic as a member of the Tampa Bay Rays.  Hinske struck out against Brad Lidge and the defending World Series Champion Philadelphia Phillies and there's a good chance those two may meet again over the next week or so.
