Rick Nash is still a member of the Blue Jackets. At least for the moment. Columbus held onto its captain during the NHL draft this weekend despite speculation the club could trade the nine-year veteran to stock up on young talent as part of a rebuilding process. ''I sensed through the middle of the week there was not a big push from the teams I'm talking to now,'' Blue Jackets general manager Scott Howson said after the draft ended Saturday afternoon. ''I think the landscape will become a lot more certain on July 1.'' That's when the free agent market opens. When the smoke from the signings clear, Howson believes he'll have a better handle on what the market is for one of the top forwards in the league. Nash has spent his entire career in Columbus and finished with 30 goals and 29 assists during the 2011-12 season.
