4-star inside linebacker James Hearns has officially decommitted from the Florida Gators. Now, Hearns says Kentucky is the favorite to land his services. In an interview, he says this about UK: “I’d say their my favorite, there’s definitely a chance I’ll commit this weekend.” ESPN ranks Hearns as the 10th best player at his position. The Tallahassee, Florida native has superb tackling skills and has some serious strength at the point of attack.
Hearns is 6’3”, 225 pounds, and is in the Class of 2013. His list of suitors before his verbal to the Florida Gators is an extremely impressive. He had offers from Alabama, Auburn, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Florida State, LSU, Notre Dame, Oregon, Louisville, Ohio State, Nebraska, Miami (FL), among others.
Needless to say, with a list of suitors like that, this Hearns kid must be a dynamite recruit. For Mark Stoops, the Kentucky football recruiting image should continue to grow and prosper with another possible commitment coming this weekend.
