After sustaining damage tothe rear end from an early spin and contact with the wall, Bowles and the teammade the necessary repairs and clawed their way back into the top-20, recordingan 18th place finish at the “World’s Fastest Half-Mile.”“The car was much better in race trim thanqualifying,” explained Bowles. “We movedup quickly early on until I got loose under the 01 car and scraped the wall. The guys did an excellent job getting the carback together and we were able to make our way back towards the front. I really have to thank them and AmericanMajority for all of their support. Wecouldn’t do it without them.”After qualifying 26th, Bowlesquickly moved up to 18th place by lap 30.
