Jeff Kent is just a normal guy — like the typical Major League Baseball ticket buyer, really. At least that’s what he’s insisted. Millions of dollars, All-Star profile and fights with Barry Bonds aside, Kent recently participated on the newest edition of Survivor, which was always an interesting choice considering his known ornery personality from his playing days. Apparently that personality came back to haunt him, as he was voted off the show in an episode that aired on Wednesday night. However, in typical Kent fashion, he just couldn’t go out without making some waves. First, he compared his experience to the 2002 World Series, where his Giants lost to the Anaheim Angels in seven games. He also took an apparently random potshot at Barack Obama, noting that if he had won the $1 million prize, it would have been something like $600,000 after taxes. Check out Kent’s bizarre exit rant in the video below.

Jeff Kent gets booted from Survivor, is a sore loser, mad at Barack Obama

I don't think I've seen an episode of Survivor since the days Elizabeth Hasselbeck wasn't a Hasselbeck.  That's been about 63 seasons ago and somehow the show is still around.  Evidently, former San Francisco Giants second basemen Jeff Kent was booted off the island last night and was none too pleased.  While you can watch the entire tribal council thingy here...

Jeff Kent’s ‘Survivor’ Departure Was The Most Jeff Kent Thing Ever

I don’t watch much reality TV, let alone any of the CBS blockbuster Survivor, but I’d been keeping my ear to the TV in the other room this season as my girlfriend watched, because as a rule, anything that involves Jeff Kent is usually outstanding. That’s not to say that I like the former San Francisco Giants second baseman. But he has built one of the greatest a-hole reputations...

It's Time for the Ole Miss Administration to Start Cracking Skulls

Last night, a small group of Ole Miss students decided to protest the re-election of Barack Obama as President of the United States, presumably because they are college students and have nothing but free time.  Eventually, the crowd got bigger and bigger, as more bored students wanted to see what was going on, and people started yelling at one another in the way only politics makes...

Pippen compares Obama to Jordan

Barack Obama and Michael Jordan may have more in common than just Chicago, according to Scottie Pippen. On Tuesday we reported that Obama spent part of his day eschewing the stress of election day by playing some basketball with Pippen in a pick-up game. By the end of the night, of course, stress wasn't part of the equation, as Obama won re-election handily (in the electoral...
