Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Michael Jenkins is expected to suit up and make his 2010 debut on Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles. It is not nearly the same as acquiring the likes of a Randy Moss, but Jenkins’ return will nonetheless aid the Falcons’ passing attack. Jenkins has been sidelined since suffering a shoulder injury on August 6, and had been replaced in the starting lineup by Harry Douglas and Eric Weems. The team has also given more playing time to veteran receiver Brian Finneran. The three receivers mentioned above have combined for 22 catches for 252 yards and two touchdowns. Douglas expects to see the most playing time with the return of Jenkins, but Finneran and Weems will also still see the field. Like I said, this is not like Moss joining the team. It is not like trading for Vincent Jackson or getting Santonio Holmes back from suspension.
