America’s Team has decided to shake some things up and put Bill Callahan in charge of play calling, but are they putting a man in charge that sabotaged his own team on the biggest stage of sports? Yes, according to two of the most respected NFL receivers of all time - Tim Brown and Jerry Rice. Earlier today former Raiders receiver Tim Brown said that the new Cowboys play caller sabotaged the Raiders by changing the game plan at the last-minute, and now his teammate in Oakland and most the respected NFL receiver of all time Jerry Rice has said he agrees with Browns’ theory that Callahan wanted to lose. Rice said that he didn’t like his players, his team, and was so loyal to his old boss, John Gruden, that he would even let him win the Super Bowl. “For some reason — and I don’t know why — Bill Callahan did not like me,” Rice said. “In a way, maybe because he didn’t like the Raiders, he decided, ‘Maybe we should sabotage this a little bit and let Jon Gruden go out and win this one.’” So does Rice realize what he’s accusing Callahan of? “Yeah, I know exactly what I’m saying,” Rice said. The fact that Jerry Rice has come out and agreed with Brown give this story more validity. I just can’t see them making something like this up, but why come forward now?  It will be interesting to see how these allegations will affect Callahan’s credibility as the new Cowboy’s play caller.
