Josh Cribbs said goodbye to the city of Cleveland in about as classy of a manner possible. He (or most likely someone from his camp) put together a collage of images from his time in Cleveland that tell a powerful story. Cribbs was signed by the Browns in 2005 as an undrafted free agent. He spent eight seasons with the team and made the Pro Bowl twice as a return man. He scored...
On Wednesday, former Cleveland Browns wide receiver and kick returner Josh Cribbs reportedly signed with the Arizona Cardinals. Cribbs had been a member of the Cleveland Browns since 2005 when he signed to the team after not being drafted. He became well-known for his kick returning abilities during his tenure with Cleveland before transitioning into a wide receiver. With this being...
Josh Cribbs is possibly on his way to Arizona. But before he left Cleveland, he wanted to say goodbye to the city in the most creative way possible. And what you see above is what he came up with.It must be said the deal in Arizona isn’t official yet. But seeing as though Cribbs has been talking to many teams for awhile now, he seems to think that a return to Cleveland isn’t...
Former Cleveland Browns wide receiver/return specialist and
current free agent Josh Cribbs has flown mostly under the radar this offseason.
The dynamic wide out has reportedly narrowed his search for his next team down
to two, the New England Patriots and the Arizona Cardinals, according to Mary
Kay Cabot of The Plain Dealer.
#browns Josh Cribbs has it narrowed down to the patriots...
Before free agents were technically allowed to start talking with other teams Josh Cribbs spilled the beans that his people were talking to several team (even thought it was illegal at the time). The fact that he is/was looking comes as no surprise. As talented as he is it would be hard to imagine him not getting interest from other teams.
Now there has yet to be any word on where...
We wrote a little about Cribbs earlier as it was first reported by Nick Underhill at MassLive.com that Cribbs was on the Patriots radar. Now it seems they are closing in on a deal.
Per @marykaycabot, #Patriots are faves to land Josh Cribbs, followed by #Cardinals and #49ers, source said.

Josh Cribbs shares with rookie receivers
I have a sister in mourning over the impending departure of Josh Cribbs. It stinks to ever have to say goodbye to players that you love as a fan of a team. Even as much as people tend to dislike Ray Lewis outside of Baltimore, there’s no denying that his career there couldn’t have ended more perfectly for his fans. Those situations aren’t...
So that's that RT @marykaycabot: Josh Cribbs to Arizona, source told Pd.— Jeff Howe (@jeffphowe) March 14, 2013
So maybe "losing out" is a little bit of a stretch, but the Patriots were pursuing him and at one point were the favorites to sign him. Perhaps the Danny Amendola signing had them a little less interested. Amendola can be a returner too, though not Josh...
We asked Browns insider Lane Adkins about Josh Cribbs and his potential return to Cleveland. Here's what Lane said of Cribb's chances to return to Cleveland, or land some place else, like New England.
The Arizona Cardinals were really busy today. They ended up releasing veteran safety Kerry Rhodes and signed the following four free agents:
Safety Yeremiah Bell
Wide receiver/kick returner Josh Cribbs,
Quarterback Drew Stanton
Linebacker Lorenzo Alexander
The Cardinals added some solid players to their roster today. They dumped Rhodes to free up more cap room.
The Arizona Cardinals broke their silence on the open market, as they made many headlines on the second day of the 2013 NFL Free Agency frenzy. A week after moving on from Adrian Wilson, Arizona has now also reportedly released safety Kerry Rhodes, though the team re-signed Yeremiah Bell to a one-year deal and is also acquiring a proven young cornerback off the open market in...
