Josh Perry of Lewis Center Olentangy became the first member of Ohio State’s 2012 class when September 1st arrived this year. At 6’4” 228 lbs, Perry plays wide receiver in addition to outside linebacker for Olentangy but was recruited as a linebacker. He performed well at Ohio State’s summer camp and earned himself a scholarship by the time the weekend was over. He didn’t wait long committing. He made a public announcement on the first day that juniors are allowed to verbally commit.
