The Oakland A’s battered the Toronto Blue Jays 14-6 as Josh Reddick deposited three home runs into the seats at the Rogers Centre. All three of the right fielder’s home runs came with two outs, and Reddick now has eight on the season. The club also tallied 17 hits and a season-high five home runs. The win over the Blue Jays ends a three-game slide for the A’s as the team had also lost four out of five. The A’s improve to 65-49 on the season while the Texas Rangers are 65-50 pending the outcome of their game with the Houston Astros at Minute Maid Park. Jarrod Parker, who started the game for the A’s went six innings and allowed three runs on six hits. The right-hander improves to 8-6 on the season and hasn’t lost since May 22. Esmil Rogers meanwhile, who started for the Blue Jays, lasted three innings and served up seven runs as he allowed seven hits and walked two batters.
