The Jaguars need to do one thing in order to win their game against the Texans this Sunday.  Stop Arian Foster. It's easier said than done, but the Jaguars must do it.  Whether he's running off tackle, up the middle, catching screen passes or any time he attempts to roll out of the backfield to catch any pass what so ever.  He must be stopped.  The Texans will be without WR Andre Johnson, so most of the offense will be directly or indirectly designed to have something to do with Foster.  They will undoubtedly try to get the ball to their TEs as well, but Foster must be the focus of the Jaguars defense in order to win the game.

Foster racked up 180 yards & 2 touchdowns the last time these teams met.  He is coming off a big game in which he not only had over 100 yards running, but over 100 yards receiving also.  The Jaguars have to make the Texans one dimensional, much like they did to the Ravens last Monday night.  Take away Foster & winning this game becomes a lot easier.  The Jaguars defense needs to hit him hard & hit him often.  They will also need to get lots of pressure on QB Matt Schuab, because he will not struggle the way Flacco did.  This will be the toughest test yet for the Jacksonville defense.

They need everyone to play their best football on Sunday.  Mathis, Mincey, Poz, Session, Lowery, Cox & company need a repeat performance.  One thing that absolutely can not happen again is fumbles.  Jones Drew had 3 fumbles and almost 4 against the Ravens.  He has to hold on to the football.  The Jaguars will not be able to have those mistakes and expect to win against the Texans.  The Texans are too good for the Jags have those mental errors. They will capitalize on them.  Gabbert will have to be better as well.  Granted he had no INTs on Monday, but he also didn't throw a TD.  That has to change.  Lewis desperately needs to get in gear.  His lack of production is a major concern.  This offense would be so much better with Marcedes making the type of plays he became known for last season.

Jason Hill, Mike Sims-Walker & Mike Thomas all need to be at the top of their games as well.  Dropped passes need to be drastically reduced & red zone catches (or catches in general) need to increase.  The Jaguars defensive front four need to step it up.  DE John Chick will not play, so Kampman, Roth, Knighton & Alualu need to pick up any slack & get some sacks.  I expect to see a similar style of defense, like they deployed against the Ravens, in order to stop the Texans.  Hopefully, the Jaguars limit their mistakes & turn any made by Houston into points.  It all starts with stonewalling Foster.  He must be stopped, by any means necessary.  GO JAGS!
