Kidd will try to help the New York Knicks continue their best start in 40 years Wednesday night when he visits his former team for the first time since leaving via free agency. Kidd spent the last four-plus seasons running the point for Dallas (6-6), helping the Mavericks to the 2011 NBA championship along with current teammate Tyson Chandler. His time in Dallas came to an end when he signed a three-year, $9 million contract with the Knicks (8-1) this summer. Cuban derided the move, questioning Kidd's loyalty and claiming his jersey won't be retired by the Mavs, despite his contributions on the court. While Cuban has claimed he's planning to boo Kidd, the 39-year-old guard has been a key figure in a fast start by the Knicks, winners of eight of their f...

DALLAS-- When the New York Knicks signed Jason Kidd to a free agent contract over the summer, not only did Knicks coaches and brass know they were getting one of the greatest floor generals in the history of the NBA, but they also knew they were receiving a player who would also have a very positive impact off the court, namely in the locker room. Will Cuban and Kidd ever get back together?

DALLAS Michael Finley once told me that loyalty is not about how you're treated by a team while you're playing. It's about how you're treated when you're done playing. Judging by the frost coming from Mark Cuban, don't expect the Jason Kidd and Dallas Mavericks to make up anytime soon. The emotions are still too raw at the upper end of the Mavericks organization...

The Assist: Jason Kidd should never rock a headband

The Knicks bounced back from their loss at Memphis on Friday to beat up on the Pacers. In the first quarter, Knicks veteran Jason Kidd collided with Indiana guard Lance Stephenson. Only a Knicks fan (or Mark Cuban) would do this!

Every team in the NBA has a website that you can get to by punching in the team’s name, except the Nets. Domain names. If you are a company either doing business on the internet, or looking to strengthen your brand via the internet, they are quite a big deal.
