Chicago Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall added a hilarious dynamic to the discussion of Adderall use across the NFL on Wednesday when he told reporters it is not the only prescription drug he has heard of players abusing. According to Marshall, some players have used Viagra as a performance-enhancer on the field as well. Marshall’s comments caused many of us to unwillingly picture what the gridiron would look like if players were hopped up on Viagra. Based on what we know about the little blue pill, I’m not sure how this would work. Neither is Marshall’s teammate, linebacker Lance Briggs. Lance Briggs asked if players use Viagra to get an edge as Brandon Marshall said: “There would be a lot of dangerous boners on the field.” — Brad Biggs (@BradBiggs) November 29, 2012 My thoughts exactly. Even if there was some sort of benefit to popping a Viagra before a game, I would think the cons would outweigh the pros by a significant amount. But hey, you never know what the kids are doin...

Brandon Marshall knows the lengths NFL players will go to get an edge on the field but on Wednesday —  after the Chicago Bears wide receiver was asked about the rash of Adderall-related suspensions in the league this season — he said he's heard plenty of rumors about which supplements some players take to boost their performances during game time.  Some of which are of...

It is not just Adderall. Brandon Marshall of the Chicago Bears says players in the NFL will use anything to get an edge on the field. “I don’t know too much about Adderall,” Marshall told reporters. “I know guys, it is such a competitive league, guys try anything just to get that edge. I’m fortunate enough to be blessed with size and some smarts to give me my edge. But...

Brandon Marshall Cites Viagra As Possible PED

I am not sure if Chicago Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall has landed a spokesperson deal with Viagra, but I do know he is always extremely quotable and today is no exception.  According to Sean Jensen, Brandon Marshall said today that he has been regaled with “crazy stories of players trying to get an edge, including use of Viagra.”  With the recent numerous suspensions...

Brandon Marshall Has Heard of Players Using Viagra As On-Field Performance Enhancer

It seems that Adderall isn’t the only strange prescription medication that NFL players are using to boost their on-field performance. I’ve heard [of] guys using, like Viagra, seriously...

The idea that NFL players might use Viagra to gain an edge on the field left Chicago Bears linebacker Lance Briggs practically in tears -- from laughing. He wasn't the only one. The Chicago Bears' belief that they have the depth to withstand injuries is being tested.
