Think or say what you want. For me, the loss of Michael Jackson is brutal. I truly feel a sense of loss. Michael Jackson's music takes me back to my youth, back when life was more about fun than work. It brings a smile to my face and great memories to mind. How beautifully perfect is "I'll Be There" in that young and innocent voice?The excitement of waiting for the Thriller video to be aired on MTV (this was well before we had any video or song we wanted at our fingetips-we had to do something called WAITING). I remember being so wowed by it I was on the phone for hours with my girlfriends afterwards. I also remember seeing the moonwalk for the first time when MJ performed at the grammy's.
