The Lowell Spinners (Boston Red Sox) take on the Tri-City ValleyCats (Houston Astros) in the final regular season home game at LeLacheur Park on Sunday evening. The Spinners sit atop the New York-Penn League’s Stedler Division by a half game over the ValleyCats entering Sunday night and only four games remaining in the regular season. Jamie Callahan takes the mound for the Spinners as the battle for a playoff spot for only the third time in the 17-year history of the Lowell Spinners. Callahan is 5-1 with a 3.54 earned run average and 49 strikeouts over 59 innings of work this season. Michael Feliz will be on the bump for the ValleyCats, boasting a 3-2 record with a 1.60 earned run average and 68 punch outs over 62 innings this season.
