Lyoto Machida is on the verge of another shot at the title but he has to be more exciting in order to get it. His latest match against Dan Henderson was terrible and I am worried this fight will be similar.

Lyoto Machida has a long history of decimating wrestlers, from Tito Ortiz, to Rashad Evans to Ryan Bader and even Dan Henderson, although he rarely uses his wrestling anymore. Maybe Lyoto has the wrestlers figured out to a degree most don’t, but then again, Phil Davis is reaching another level in his martial arts training.

Lyoto has faced some very good wrestlers in his career and beat all of them with the exception of Jon Jones. Davis will really need to take it to Machida which is much easier said than done.
