“Macho Man” Randy Savage’s Cause Of Death Made Official

Following his passing on May 20th, 2011 and an autopsy that followed to rule if “Macho Man” Randy Savage had any alcohol or drugs in his body, an update on the cause of death for the former WWE, World Championship Wrestling and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling superstar has been made available. Speaking to Florida’s Bright House Sports Network, the brother of “Macho Man” Randy Savage and former wrestling star “The Genius” Lanny Poffo, noted that his brother died from a condition known as Ventricular Fibrilation (VF), which is a severly abnormal heart rhythm that can lead to fainting or heart attacks. Poffo noted in the interview that what it means to him is that it was a beautiful way for his brother to die, in that it was quick and painless.
