ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) -- John Salmons had 21 points to lead six players in double-figures and the hot-shooting Sacramento Kings cruised to a 125-101 victory over the Orlando Magic on Wednesday night. The Kings were coming off a double -overtime loss to Miami on Tuesday, but showed few signs of a hangover, knocking down 10 3-pointers. Reserve Marcus Thornton added 20 points. The win ends a six-game losing streak and snaps a string of nine consecutive road losses. It also marks the Kings' first season sweep of the Magic in nine years. Tobias Harris led the Magic with 23 points, followed by Arron Afflalo with 15. Orlando has lost 29 of its last 33 games and hasn't won back-to-back games since mid-December. The Magic resume their three-game home stand Friday against Houston. The Kings led by as many as 33 in the second half and didn't let up until late as their field goal percentage hovered near 60 percent. Al Harrington Makes Season Debut After Hearing He Might Not Play Again

Acquired by the Orlando Magic as part of the Dwight Howard trade, forward Al Harrington has yet to play for his new team after developing a staph infection from arthroscopic surgery to repair a torn meniscus. He proceeded to have four surgeries over ten weeks to clean out the area which left collateral damage. After hearing he might not play again, the fourteen-year-veteran made...

Beno Udrih quickly comfortable in Orlando

Beno Udrih came to Orlando refreshed. His time in Milwaukee was a bit of a mixed bag. He averaged 6.7 points per game playing 18.4 minutes per game in 39 games with Milwaukee. His playing time witht he Bucks was inconsistent and Udrih expressed some frustration upon arriving in Orlando. To him, playing for the Magic and in a new city is a new opportunity for him, as he told...

I have a Tobias toward Harris

Way way waaaay back in the day, like in early November back in the day, I told you to go ahead and grab yourself some Tobias Harris. At that time it looked like he would start at small forward for the Bucks and possibly have a breakout fantasy season but noooooooooooooo. Instead he farted directly on your pillow and you launched him faster than you could get out your deodorizer!...

DeMarcus Cousins gives Kings analyst Jerry Reynolds a birthday kiss

I've always had a soft spot in my heart for Kings center DeMarcus Cousins.  Sure he's a little crazy, sure he gets suspended and benched and ejected from games.  Sure, controversy and drama seems to follow him at every step.  But it always seemed that underneath all that there was a really good basketball player and a decent human being.  Maybe this video can help show...

Tobias’ Stats Are Never Nude

Tobias Harris started the season fairly strong, putting together some decent lines in November, but then fell out of the Bucks rotation.  ”Oh Tobias, you blow-hard!”  It looked like Harris’ career might be stalled.  ”I got my hands on some money.  I can’t say how or when … or where my wedding ring is, but my purse overfloweth.”  But with a trade to the Magic right...

Magic end road skid by topping 76ers

PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- Players were high-fiving and telling jokes in the giddy postgame locker room. It was a rare and pleasant atmosphere for the Orlando Magic, especially on the road. Arron Afflalo and Tobias Harris scored 16 points apiece and the Magic snapped a 10-game road losing streak with a 98-84 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday. "It feels great,"...

Sacramento mayor plans to keep Kings

Mayor Kevin Johnson says Sacramento is back in the ballgame after announcing that two investors want to buy the NBA's Kings and build a downtown arena to stop the proposed move of city's only major league sports team to Seattle. Mark Mastrov, founder of 24 Hour Fitness, will submit a bid for the team to the NBA on Friday, Johnson said in a speech Thursday night. Mastrov...

Sixers Fan Selling Two Tickets for Tonight's Game for Just One Million Dollars

Seems legit. A seemingly sarcastic 76ers fan is selling two tickets to Tuesday night's contest against the Orlando Magic for $1 million. That's right; $500,000 apiece to sit in the upper levels of the Wells Fargo Center and enjoy some pretty bad basketball. Of course, there are seats available for $0.99 all over StubHub, but this is the deal of a lifetime.
