Despite all the bashing, Woodward keeps doing his job. Maine announced yesterday that they have signed two players for next season. Both are international players, as Woodward taps both the Canadian and Serbian markets. Justin Edwards and Zarko Valjarevic both come in with excellent resumes.
Edwards, a 6'2'' guard, scored over 3,400 points with Anderson Collegiate Vocational Institute in Ontario. He also was one of the Top 10 recruits in Canada for this season. Valjarevic comes out of prep school, playing for national power house Notre Dame Prep. He was highly ranked by ESPN.com.
Woodward can get the talent, now he has to make it work. Get it done coach!
