The major Tony Stewart update is out and Tony Stewart is not going to be back for the rest of the 2013 NASCAR Sprint Cup season.  Mark Martin is going to drive the rest of the season except for the Talladega race where Austin Dillion is going to get the ride. Over at Michael Waltrip Racing Brian Vickers is going to be in 12 of the final 13 races.  Michael Waltrip will get the car at Talladega which was already going to take place. In a Kurt Busch update Kurt Busch could land in a fourth car at Stewart Haas racing.  Juan Pablo Montoya could wind up back in the IRL with Andretti Autosport. Ty Dillion is going to moving up to the Nationwide Series next year in the #3 car.  Sponsorship so far is an 8 race commitment from Yeungling Light beer.   MY quick Kurt Busch,Mark Martin, and Juan Pablo Montoya thoughts... Unless Kurt Busch lands the #29 ride I do not see any reason why he should leave the #78 ride.  Stewart Hass Racing still needs sponsorship for next season on at least one car they already have. so why even ad a fourth driver.  With Kurt Busch in the #78 car he has taken that team from mid pack to chase contender in less than one season. The #42 ride is open next season, but that ride is not even any better than  what he currently has.  Only the #29 car is an upgrade from what he driving. Putting Mark Martin in the #14 car is a great move and only worth it if Tony was out most or all of the final races this season.  This is even great for Brian Vickers who gets more seat time in the #55 car. Austin Dillion would have been a solid choice as well, but Mark has all those extra years on him on the track.   Unless Kurt Bush leaves the #78 ride this year I do not see any spot for Juan in NASACR next season.  I just do not see him getting the #29 ride.  The #42 ride was perfect for Juan.  Earnhardt Ganassi Racing is not even as big as Hendrick Racing or even as properly funded.  He had a shot at a few oval wins, but never did become a massive breakout star.
