There is a lot going on in Maria Kirilenko’s world. The Russian tennis player is playing her first grand slam since getting engaged to boyfriend Alex Ovechkin last month. Kirilenko also defeated Yanina Wickmayer 7-6, 6-3 on Saturday to advance to the fourth round of the Australian Open. After her victory, Kirilenko conducted a post-match interview where the subject of her engagement to the Washington Capitals star came up. When the interviewer pointed out that Kirilenko wasn’t wearing a ring, she retrieved it from her bag and produced it on request. An embarrassed Kirilenko said the two have not yet set a date for the wedding. She does, however, have a date with Serena Williams in the fourth round.
