The Rangers enter the All-Star break having lost 3 of 4 games after Seattle scored twice in the seventh after an error on Elvis Andrus to win 5-3 on Sunday. The Rangers had their chances early against Erik Bedard, but went 0-for-6 against him with runners in scoring position. Overall, the Rangers left 10 runners on base.
But the Rangers said the felt good about where there are entering the second half, 48-39 and 1 1/2 games behind Los Angeles in the AL West. The season resumes Friday at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington against Minnesota.
