San Antonio Spurs forward Matt Bonner may have a rep as someone who is ahem parsimonious with his NBA millions – notoriously both eating Subway and riding the subway while a member of the Toronto Raptors years ago – but some would argue that Bonner is being more sensible than anything.
Case in point – after Bonner’s 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix recently bit the dust and with Pontiac long having gone out of business and unable to offer a replacement Matt was seen tooling around San Antonio in a classic Chevrolet El Camino last summer. Keen to stick with the Chevy brand but needing something a little more modern and practical Bonner has picked a new car for the 2013-14 season.
